Question here if it happens will it last?
Trump running for next election campaign and it is more likely that he will win again and will acquire white house till 2024, on the other hand Xi will be leading china for as long as he wants as there is only 1% of the leaders oppose him in china so he is not leaving any time soon and that's what you can expect from a communist country.
Trade deal making news for quite a while now so what next?
In my view the deal will fall apart sooner than it can be realized monetarily as both the leaders are too proud or too ignorant or too brave or bold to compete with each other.
As far as recent history is concerned when china shows some flexibility trump reacts too harsh and announcing a win over china in his tweets, and when US shows some decency china comes up with something that US will more likely to throw it in a dustbin.
So, it's a road to no end and world will keep on suffering.
My conclusion is that when one of the leader leave the office no matter who will leave first things will change dramatically and towards the better of this world.
